Christmas Mail Delivery Dates

Here we are, it's that time again and as we prepare to welcome the festive period (or are you already in full swing?), we wanted to drop-in and keep you informed about Christmas delivery dates.

The below dates are based on guidelines published by the relevant National Postage Services. As always, we would advise giving yourself extra days leeway to beat the rush.

When should you post mail so it is received before Christmas in the UK?

As advised on the Royal Mail website, allow plenty of time for posting during the Christmas period

To guarantee that mail is received by the recipient before Christmas...

2nd Class: Wednesday 18th December 2024 (campaigns must be booked on the platform by midnight on Tuesday 17th)

1st Class: Friday 20th December 2024 (campaigns must be booked on the platform by midnight on Thursday 19th)

When should you post mail so it is received before Christmas in the US?

The USPS has advised of the following dates for sending mail in the US.

To guarantee that mail is received by the recipient before Christmas...

Standard Class: Monday 9th December 2024 (campaigns must be booked on the platform by midnight on Friday 6th)

1st Class: Wednesday 18th December 2024 (campaigns must be booked on the platform by midnight on Tuesday 17th)

Canada Post has advised of the following dates for sending mail in Canada.

Standard Class: Tuesday 17th December 2024 (campaigns must be booked on the platform by midnight on Monday 16th)
